March 8th: Celebrate with us!

If you are from Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, or any other country that used to be part of former Soviet Union, you know that the International Women’s Day is coming on March 8. In that part of the world, this day is associated with the beginning of Spring, trees starting to sprawl out new leaves and female beauty.

Would you like to celebrate March the 8th with the Russian Club for Toddlers?
We promise this will be an interesting event for the whole family, and here is why (click Read More under the picture).

We will do a puppet show! No, we do not know what story this show will feature yet, but we do know that we need enthusiastic parents to help with the performance. Yes, we want to keep this real simple for a variety of reasons. And yes, we would like to include kids in this performance, so that they are not just passive listeners, but active participants who practice their Russian. We will include fun active games with lots of running and horovoding. We would like to have some healthy, kids-friendly sweets, beverages and fruits to rev up the party! We welcome any initiative from parents as to what they want to bring to the table that day. If you have other ideas and/or would like to help with the celebration (and we really need some help here!), please contact Lesya and/or Sveta.
