Toddler Festival : Help needed

The Ames Russian club for toddlers is invited to participate in the Toddler Festival, organized by the Ames public library. The event will take place on Sunday, April 12 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.

I feel it is a good time to show the library how much we appreciate their kind attitude and support of our club.

I imagine we can make a small poster about our club and prepare an activity geared towards people who do not speak Russian, but might be interested to learning a few words. Those learners will be probably young too, :-) , about the age of our kids. So, we can do things like:

1) Display different sets of matrioshkas and teach basic counting, one, two, three, by counting the dolls in each set.
2) We can prepare templates for making matrioshkas out of colored paper. Kids will be happy to decorate those with all sorts of patterns.
3) Just when I thought I had so MANY ideas, I actually ran out of them, :- ( ...

So, please join us in saying “Thank you!” to the library and throwing in an idea or two regarding the activities we can perform for the Toddler festival. Please, make a comment to this posting if you have something cool in your mind.
